Upcoming Training Opportunities--
Each year we have many fireschools throughout the state that we can attend, if we so choose. However, only one of these is paid for by the department. The two biggest ones around are in Fontana, which is right outside of Robbinsville, and in Marion, which is outside of Asheville. The one in Marion is the biggest one in the state. Fontana is usually in the middle of February and Marion is usually in May.
